Impact Kubo can't seem to find a permanent home just yet but maybe that's a sign of his talent, as Real Madrid still wish to hold his rights and let him flourish where he can play. After a mixed bag of performances last season while on loan with Villarreal and Getafe, he returns to the Island club, where he scored four goals and provided four assists in 35 appearances back in the 2019/20 season. More recently, an impressive run at the Olympics during Japan's time as hosts put him back on the map and made sure there was plenty of interest for his signature. As a result, it will be interesting to see if his numbers improve now that he's further along in his career.
