Right now there's a fierce competition between Costa and Toni Lato for the starting spot at left-back but the former's performance here will probably give him an edge for upcoming games.

Impact Gonzalez had some solid defensive numbers but will be mostly remembered by the mistake that led to the opposition's lone goal of the game as he deflected a cross that was on its way to be smothered by the goalkeeper and left Alvaro Garcia with the easy task of slotting the ball into the empty net. With 22 tackles, 24 clearances and 11 interceptions over his last seven starts, the center-back will try to redeem himself during next Sunday's clash against Real Sociedad.

Impact Rajkovic made a nice job between the posts and it seemed very likely he would keep his first clean sheet in seven matches until the 76th minute, when teammate Giovanni Gonzalez deflected a cross that looked easy for the goalkeeper to save and it ended up leaving the net wide-open for Alvaro Garcia to slot the ball in. With 20 saves and 11 goals allowed over his last seven starts, Rajkovic will face a tough challenge next Sunday, when his team hosts Real Sociedad.
