Heads to Columbus Amundsen will make a move to Ohio after agreeing to a transfer from New York City F.C for $400,000 through the 2024 season, with a club option for 2025.

Impact Since New York acquired Braian Cufre from Mallorca and bringing back Matias Pellegrini and Santiago Rodriguez, Amundsen has yet to see an appearance this season. He spent two years with the club, including winning both the MLS Cup and the Campeones Cup in both 2021 and 2022. In 63 appearances, the defender has started in 40 matches, totaling a goal, four assists, 136 crosses (29 accurate) and 97 tackles (61 won. He is expected to take over the role for Will Sands, who will be undergoing season-ending ACL surgery.
