Benjamin Mendy - Ends campaign on bench Mendy stayed on the bench in the final two matches of the season.
Impact Mendy was healthy most of the season, but he struggled for playing time after the first three matches and rarely started back-to-back matches. The addition of Joao Cancelo took away his role, but Oleksandr Zinchenko also saw more time. Mendy finished with two goals and an assist in 11 league starts (13 appearances).

Eric Garcia - Misses league finale Garcia started two of the last three league matches, but he wasn't in the squad for the final win against Everton.
Impact There were rumors of Garcia leaving the squad last summer and it's looking like that could come to fruition in the next few months. Even though he didn't deal with any major injuries, he managed nine appearances (six starts) across league and UCL this season as the team's fifth option at center-back.

Impact Ake battled a three-month injury this season and while he wasn't going to become a regular if healthy, it still limited his playing time. He finished with nine league starts and two more in Champions League. Unfortunately, his role probably won't change, as the fourth center-back option for City.

Bernardo Silva - Doesn't play in finale Silva wasn't used in Sunday's finale against Everton after starting the prior two matches.
Impact It's unknown if Silva was rested in order to be ready for the Champions League final, or if he lost his playing with the first team. He's been a preferred option of Pep Guardiola for most of the season, totaling two goals and six assists in 26 league appearances (24 starts), as well as another goal and two assists in 12 UCL appearances (10 starts).

Aymeric Laporte - Closes season on bench Laporte has stayed on the bench in each of Man City's final three league matches of the season.
Impact Laporte lost his starting role this season despite being healthy most of the way. Once Ruben Dias joined up and John Stones figured things out, there wasn't room for Laporte as a regular and that resulted in just 17 starts across league and Champions League.

While he's scored 16 goals across league and UCL, a lot of those have come without Kevin De Bruyne in the squad, something to keep in mind.

Impact Mahrez didn't post huge numbers Sunday, but that doesn't take away from what has been a great end to the season. He made the score-sheet in 10 of his final 12 starts and will undoubtedly be a key piece in the Champions League final. Oddly, his numbers were still worse than a season ago because he started slowly, totaling nine goals and six assists in 27 appearances (23 starts).

Impact Sterling went a full 90 in three of the final four matches, but those all came after Man City secured the league title. He slowly lost his starting role the final two months of the season and there's a chance he won't even appear in the Champions League final. He posted his worst numbers since the 2016/17 campaign, totaling 10 goals and seven assists from 31 appearances (28 starts).
