Impact Weigandt's first season with the club was solid, if not glamorous. He assisted three times and was a consistent starter, though he was often underwhelming. For the most part the defender had a solid role at right-back, even if his form defensively was disappointing.

Impact Weigandt provided a perfect chip pass to Lionel Messi, who headed in the goal to tie the score at 2-2 in the 65th minute of play. The assist marked the third of the season and the second in five appearances for Weigandt, who also registered two chances created for the first time in five outings. Additionally, Weigandt set a season high with three interceptions.

Even though Jordi Alba is who most and the team itself goes to for creating chances from the back, Weigandt himself is proving himself to be a legitimate option in that regard. Impact Weigandt made a huge contribution with just 30 minutes into the game, assisting Luis Suarez for the opening goal and then put up a solid performance the rest of the way, providing some valuable defensive input despite playing in a more advanced position than the one he had prior to the mid-year break. This was the first assist since joining Inter Miami for the full-back, who also racked up 14 tackles over his last four league starts.

Impact Weigandt had an impressive season with Boca Juniors, recording two goals and five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions with the side.
