Expected to return after break Friedl (ankle) looks set to make his return after the international break against Wolfsburg on March 30, as the player told reporters Monday, "I hope that - if everything continues... Impact Friedl made the return to small portions of group training last week following the tear to his ankle, now looking to return in three weeks following the international break. This is huge news for the club, as he is a regular starter when healthy, having yet to miss a game when an option. If he does reach full fitness by the Wolfsburg match, expect the defender to possibly return to his starting role immediately, as he is the club's preferred option at center-back, and fellow defenders Niklas Stark (ankle) and Amos Pieper (ankle) are both still out due to injuries. However, Friedl will still have to sit out one more match before his possible return, missing Saturday's match against Union Berlin.
