Impact Reus joined a bevy of his teammates on the sideline Friday and it's unclear who will be ready to play Sunday. Multiple regulars are suffering from an illness and now Reus, who had been on the bench the last three league matches, is a serious doubt for the game against Bochum.

Uncertain Saturday Reus (illness) is a doubt for Saturday's trip to Koln, Ruhr Nachrichten reports.

Impact Reus may not be able to take part in Saturday's trip to Koln due to an illness that has kept him out of training. He has one more chance to return in some capacity Friday, which would give him a chance of getting on the pitch for the match Saturday. If he's unable to go it could open more chances for Jadon Sancho in the starting XI.

Extends contract with Dortmund Reus has signed a one-year contract extension with Borussia Dortmund, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Reus has tallied six goals and four assists in 20 Bundesliga appearances (14 starts) this season, plus another goal and assist in three UCL matches despite another injury-filled campaign where he was unavailable for most of October-January due to an ankle injury and of course missed yet another World Cup for Germany. But the 33-year-old is a bona fide Borussia Dortmund legend and he's now signed up to remain at the club through 2023/24.
