Misses Euro qualifier Cash watched Tuesday's Euro playoff against Wales from home due to a hamstring injury suffered last week.

Impact There hasn't been any confirmation from Villa, but it's clear Cash suffered a hamstring injury worthy enough to keep him at home instead of the sidelines in a key match for Poland. It's seeming more likely he'll be out the couple weeks, at a minimum, meaning more starts and minutes for Alex Moreno at left-back. Given trips to Man City and Arsenal ahead in addition to UECL matches, Cash will be needed on the pitch sooner rather than later.

Impact Cash came off the bench to start the second half, but he left the game just 10 minutes after his entrance while limping off the field and grabbing his hamstring. Further tests must be taken, but it wouldn't be shocking if the right-back is forced to miss at least the next few matches for Aston Villa, as hamstring injuries are often tricky and require a few weeks of recovery. Cash should also be considered doubtful to face Wales in Poland's play-off final for a spot in the upcoming 2024 Euros.
