Impact Gaines is on the way to Houston to try and offer some reinforcements in the midfield. The midfielder made just four appearances (one start) for Nashville before being dealt, but was a more consistent producer with Charlotte. Gaines isn't a major offensive threat but he can play on either wing and is effective off the bench.
