Jozy Altidore - Out for six weeks after surgeryAltidore (foot) underwent a successful surgery on Thursday and is expected to miss around six weeks, according to a Toronto FC press release.
ImpactAltidore already missed two games with this foot injury before his surgery, and he is now expected to be out until at least late September. The veteran forward only has two goals in just 10 appearances (five starts) this year, so Toronto is equipped to handle his absence -- despite fellow forward Ayo Akinola's season-ending ACL injury as well. Patrick Mullins and Jacob Shaffelburg will likely get more playing time at forward, while the team might be leaning more on Alejandro Pozuelo to score the goals -- he has only scored once this season, but he tallied a combined 23 goals and 19 assists in the two years previous.

ImpactMavinga missed Toronto's prior two matches with a lower body injury, so it's not clear whether he's fully fit quite yet. He will likely be a game-time decision for Saturday's clash against Inter Miami.
