JT Marcinkowski - Single save in lossMarcinkowski made one save in Thursday's 2-1 defeat against Colorado Rapids.
ImpactMarcinkowski made one save as he took yet another loss. It's been an utterly brutal campaign for the keeper and San Jose as a whole, sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference with just three clean sheets throughout 33 starts. Marcinkowski will hope to finish the season strong, but there's little that can salvage the campaign for the goalkeeper. The one positive for Marcinkowski has been the absurd volume of shots the San Jose defense allows pushing Marcinkowski past 100 saves for the second straight campaign.

Tanner Beason - Fills stat sheetBeason had four tackles (four won), four clearances, and two interceptions in Thursday's 2-1 defeat to Colorado Rapids.
ImpactBeason filled the stat sheet behind the ball despite making another start at left-back. Beason is a center-back naturally so he tends to offer next to nothing going forward even when shifted over to the left side of the backline. Beason has no goal contributions on the season but has managed career-highs in tackles (36), interceptions (42), and clearances (79).

Cristian Espinoza - Assists yet againEspinoza assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), nine crosses (two accurate), and six corners in Thursday's 2-1 loss against Colorado Rapids.
ImpactEspinoza continues to be the creative spark of an otherwise disappointing San Jose side. San Jose have scored 45 goals in 2022, Espinoza has 19 goal contributions, putting him above 40% contribution on the campaign. That's a ridiculous tally for the winger who has driven the San Jose attack pretty much on his own. Espinoza will hope to surpass 20 goal contributions in the final four matches of the campaign.

Nathan - Nets in lossNathan scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Thursday's 2-1 loss against Colorado Rapids.
ImpactNathan scored just his second goal of the campaign during his 22nd appearance. The center-back has been a nailed-on starter and nearly always goes 90 minutes when healthy, though he missed a good chunk of time at the start of the campaign. Nathan has equaled his goal total from the 2021 campaign, a respectable pair of goals for the defensively-minded center-back. Nathan has just three clean sheets in 2022, a tally he will hope to build on in the final four matches of the campaign.

William Yarbrough - Two saves for winYarbrough made two saves in Thursday's 2-1 win over San Jose Earthquakes.
ImpactYarbrough made two saves on the way to the win Thursday, yet another strong performance from the goalkeeper. It was a rough start to the campaign for Yarbrough but he has salvaged it with some brilliance in the final month of the campaign. It will take an impressive run-in to get back to double-digit clean sheets, and it's likely he ends up short of the 109 saves he totaled in 2021.
