Lorenzo Insigne - Goal contribution in consecutive gamesInsigne assisted once to go with five shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
ImpactInsigne earned a goal contribution for the second match in a row after finding Deandre Kerr to open up the scoring in Saturday's match. He now has eight goal contributions on the year and three in his last four appearances. The 32-year-old has been very underwhelming in his first full season with Toronto after being a highly anticipated signing, though some of it has not been completely his fault after enduring numerous injuries throughout the season. He just finally matched his goal-contribution tally from last season in Saturday's match despite playing in seven more games this season and will hope to add to that before the end of the campaign.

The 20-year-old is still trying to find a normal starting spot and continues to be used as a rotation player after starting in half of Toronto's matches this season.

Tomas Romero - Decent despite lossRomero had six saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
ImpactRomero had a decent game in net despite the loss, making six saves while allowing two goals. The 22-year-old was just recently moved between the sticks for Toronto, with both Greg Ranjitsingh and Sean Johnson out with injuries. He has only played in five matches but is yet to earn a clean sheet, allowing nine goals and making 22 saves during that span. Things will not get any easier for the young keeper in his next match when he heads down to Miami to take on Lionel Messi and Inter Miami.

Ryan Gauld - Bags game-winning assistGauld assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal), 12 crosses (seven accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Toronto FC.
ImpactGauld had yet another great performance, assisting on Brian White's game-winning goal while also whipping in a season-high of 12 crosses. The forward's success from August seems to be carrying over to September after notching a goal contribution in his fourth straight match, and his tenth in the past eight games. Gauld has debatably been the best player in the MLS over the past month and will look to keep the hot streak alive when he visits Houston in his next match.

Ryan Raposo - Notches second assistRaposo assisted once to go with three shots (two on goal), four crosses (one accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 2-1 victory versus Toronto FC.
ImpactRaposo earned his assist in Friday's match after finding Tristan Blackmon for the equalizing goal in the derby win. It was only the second assist of the year for the 24-year-old and his first since the middle of July. The midfielder still only holds a rotational role, starting in 13 of Vancouver's 27 matches this season, but has been decent when given the opportunity, contributing 15 chances created, 66 crosses, 19 interceptions and 18 clearances in 20 appearances.
