Loaned to Arsenal Neto has been loaned to Arsenal from Bournemouth, according to his parent club.

Impact Neto will remain in England while on loan this campaign, with the goalie joining Arsenal on a season-long loan. He started in all 32 of his appearances last campaign, although that looks likely to change with his new club. David Raya will probably remain starter in net, although Neto will have a chance at overcoming him if the opportunity arises.

Four big saves in draw Neto recorded four saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Newcastle United.

Impact Neto was one of the Cherries standout players on Sunday. The made four saves, a number of which took impressive responsiveness and dexterity. The Brazilian has reestablished himself as starting goalkeeper, consistency has been his issue but he has a chance to post his first clean sheet of the season in their next against Everton. The Toffees are currently bottom of the table and have not scored in either of their two season openers.

Seven saves in draw Neto had seven saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Nottingham Forest.

Impact Neto lost his regular starting slot to Mark Travers through the latter part of last season, but he made the case for re-establishing himself in this match through a series of world class saves. He did start the game looking a little rusty Saturday, and could have done more to prevent Forest's goal when he parried a shot from Ryan Yates that allowed Chris Wood to bury it into the net. Based on this performance though he will likely start between the posts in the Cherries next at home to Newcastle.

Impact Neto saved four of the six shots he faced on goal Sunday. The first goal conceded was a bold long strike from Moises Caicedo who caught him off his line following an interception, the second was an unfortunate run under his legs as he tried to stop a Raheem Sterling shot. The Brazilian closes the season with seven clean sheets, which is a medicare performance compared to his league peers. He has also lost his starting slot to Mark Travers, the young Irishman has demonstrated he is sharper than the veteran and will likely be the Cherries starter as we look to next season.

Impact Neto could have been sharper Sunday to prevent some of the goals he conceded. His reactions seemed to be slow. Impact Surprisingly, Neto did not have much to do Saturday. He faced just two on goal efforts from Manchester United and conceded them both. Neither were down to an error on his part, the first was a goalmouth smash into the roof of the net from Bruno Fernandes and the other was when the Portuguese international struck from the penalty spot. The Brazilian has managed just one clean sheet in his last six games. It is unlikely he will improve upon that in the Cherries next against Aston Villa. Villa have scored in each of their last seven matches.
