Jamaal Lascelles - In contention Sunday Lascelles (thigh) should be available against Tottenham on Sunday after manager Steve Bruce told reporters, "The captain [Jamaal Lascelles] is fit."

Impact Lascelles is poised to return from a two-game absence due to his thigh problem, which should bolster a backline that remains without Paul Dummett (calf). Prior to getting hurt, Lascelles recorded four shots (one on target), 17 clearances and six blocks in four matches (all starts). If he does return to the starting XI on Sunday, it could see Federico Fernandez relegated to a spot on the bench.

Paul Dummett - Ruled out Sunday Dummett (calf) will not be an option versus Spurs on Sunday. Manager Steve Bruce told reporters, "The only ones not available are Martin Dubravka (foot) and Dummett."

Impact Dummett started 14 of his 15 appearances for the club last season, so he should be in the mix for the starting XI once cleared to play. In Dummett's stead, Federico Fernandez and Ciaran Clark figure to hold down the central defensive spots in the starting XI, though a healthy Jamaal Lascelles (thigh) could also be in the mix.

Impact Dubravka has yet to get onto the pitch for the club this season with no clear indication of when he might be available. In the meantime, Karl Darlow figures to continue serving as the preferred option between the sticks, though Freddie Woodman could also see some starts.
