Impact Woodman was anything but good in his performance Saturday. The keeper made multiple errors and he was even nutmegged once for a goal against. Woodman has yet to deserve the starting role with an average of 3.0 goals against per match through the first four matches of the season. On top of that, he is only averaging 2.5 saves per match. Those numbers don't quite add up and it surely puts him at the bottom of the charts in terms of efficiency.

It is hard to say if he will continue to see time though after he failed to stop Manchester's offense numerous times in the game. For the time being, there are much safer options from Newcastle.

As long as he can maintain his role on set-pieces he will be one of the best options from Newcastle.
