Continues to solidify starting role Marsman made two saves and conceded once in the 1-0 loss to Portland on Sunday. Impact Marsman has been stellar this season outside of a few bumps along the way. He did not start the season, but when he was called on to take over, he did not hesitate. Since he became the starter, he is averaging, 2.81 saves and 1.56 goals against per 90 minutes in all competitions. Marsman did have a very rough two-game stretch against New York Red Bulls and Nashville where he conceded nine goals on 17 total attempts a few weeks ago. However, since then he has only conceded twice on 10 attempts. He will continue to see the saves and if he can keep the ball out, he will have one of the best values at the position.
