Impact Perhaps because John McCarthy had under half a week to rest between their previous and latest games, Micovic logged his second start of 2024 by serving as the Galaxy's goalkeeper Saturday. However, he conceded goals from Brian Gutierrez and Hugo Cuypers. Once the MLS returns from a brief respite by mid-June, McCarthy is expected to take his prior position as the Galaxy's primary goalkeeper.

Micovic will most likely retreat to the bench in favor of John McCarthy on Saturday when Galaxy face visitors Houston.

Concedes four in loss Micovic registered two saves and allowed four goals in Saturday's 4-1 defeat against FC Dallas.

Impact Micovic was in trouble early on, conceding the first of the match in only the third minute of action. He was tested again in the 10th minute but came up with a save. He made one more save in the 13th minute but seconds after, gave up his second goal of the day. Things did not get any better from there, as Micovic gave up two more goals before halftime, resulting in an insurmountable task for his squad.

Impact Micovic conceded once in each half as the LA Galaxy ended up with the home draw. The goalkeeper made his season debut in relief of Jonathan Bond. He will now look to remain in the squad against Dallas on Saturday.
