Released from D.C. Kamara's contract with D.C. United has run out and he is set to become a free agent in November.

Impact Kamara scored 37 goals across 87 appearances in all competitions during his three-and-a-half seasons in D.C., and he finished as the runner up in the 2021 MLS Golden Boot race with 19 goals and five assists. But the 33-year-old slipped down the forward depth chart in 2022 following the arrivals of Taxiarchis Fountas and Christian Benteke, and he is now departing from the club.
