Called to international duty Campos has been called up to the Mexico youth national team and will not be an option for Sunday's match versus Vancouver.

Impact Camps has been getting consistent playing time at left back, starting four of the last five games played, collecting an assist with 10 crosses (one accurate) and 14 clearances in that span. With his absence, Ryan Hollingshead could see another start in the back line against Vancouver.

Impact Campos had plenty of chances to go forward down the left flank as he played a wing-back role against St. Louis. It was his third consecutive start, and he delivered three crosses for the second time in a row. Defensively, he's averaging 2.6 interceptions, 1.4 tackles and 1.2 clearances per game over his last five MLS matches.

Impact Campos recorded his first assist of the season in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Seattle. Campos registered just one assist in 21 appearances in 2023 and is known more for his defensive prowess than his ability to progress the play forward. He attempted just nine total shots (three on target) in 2023. If Campos is able to add a progressive passing element to his repertoire, he may challenge to exceed his career high of four assist in a season, a mark which he set over the 2021 - 2022 campaign for Santos Laguna in Liga MX.

Tranfers to LAFC Campos has agreed upon a transfer to LAFC from Club Santos, his new club announced Monday.

Impact Campos will be heading north in the next part of his career, having signed a permanent transfer to LAFC. The 21-year-old has spent the last four seasons with Club Santos in Liga MX, appearing in 109 contests over his tenure while notching three goals and eight assists in that span. As a young player on the rise, the wing-back will hope to gain plenty of time while with LAFC, as he should be a decent first-team option for the club, possibly even seeing time in the starting XI.
