Takes four shots in win
Mendez took four shots (one on target), made one tackle (one won and drew two fouls in the 1-0 win against Montreal on Saturday.
Impact
Mendez was a very important player in the close win over Montreal on Saturday. Mendez who plays in a more defensive role on the pitch, jumped at every chance he got. Mendez was clinical on both sides of the ball and helped push the ball up the pitch to jump-start any Orlando attack. He did score the first goal in the game, before it was quickly waved off for offsides thanks to his teammates. The opponents will only get harder each match in the playoffs and Mendez will need to continue his run of form.

Scores lone goal in win
Akindele took one shot (one on target) and scored one goal in the 1-0 win against Montreal on Saturday.
Impact
Akindele was active during the close win Saturday, but not in the right way. Akindele paced Orlando's attack, but continued to find himself offside or in a bad position throughout the match. Akindele and his team got very lucky with an unfortunate error on Montreal's side that gave him the easy goal. This is Orlando's first taste of playoff soccer and will need Akindele to step up his performances.
