Bradley Barcola - Excellent in Paris Barcola scored four times and added seven assists during the Ligue 1 season,

Impact Ruiz joined from Lyon early in the season and was excellent on the wing. The attacker seems set to play a huge role for the Ligue 1 giants, and he will be needed in the coming seasons especially as Kylian Mbappe is set to depart the club. Barcola's 11 goal contributions were just two shy of his previous career-high despite playing only 1,375 minutes.

Fabian Ruiz - Role dwindles Ruiz was held to one goal and three assist in 21 appearances (14 starts) in Ligue 1.

Impact Ruiz saw his minutes diminish in league action but he played a huge role in the Champions League. With the domestic competition essentially a foregone conclusion in Paris it's possible Ruiz could continue to see the most important minutes, even if he isn't a starter every week.

Gianluigi Donnarumma - Shortened season Donnarumma made just 25 starts, keeping 10 clean sheets in Ligue 1.

Impact Donnarumma was rotated, and occasionally injured, limiting his workload for the second time in three seasons in Paris. The goalkeeper is still an elite option and obviously the team ahead of him is brilliant, but there is some doubt over his workload in any given season. Donnarumma should head into 2024/25 as the top option in the starting XI.

Vitinha - Career year Vitinha scored seven goals and added four assists during 2,131 minutes in Ligue 1.

Impact Vitinha took a huge step forward in 2023/24, setting a new career-high with 11 goal contributions. The midfielder was an integral part of the starting XI in all of the most important matches. PSG will always rotate heavily but Vitinha should be one of the more consistent contributors in the coming season.

Nuno Mendes - Returns late Mendes made just six appearances after missing a majority of the season via injury.

Impact Mendes was left sidelined for almost the entirety of the Ligue 1 season, but he did make his return before the end of the season. There's heavy competition for the starting roles at full-back in Paris, but Mendes should be one of the top options for a place in the starting XI when fit.

Ousmane Dembele - Disappointing in first season Dembele scored three times and added eight assists in Ligue 1.

Impact Dembele joined PSG and was expected to immediately be a major piece of the starting XI, instead he played just 1,500 minutes. The winger was also limited to just 11 goal contributions despite PSG dominating Ligue 1. On the whole a disappointing season for the winger, though his talent means he could step up in the coming seasons, especially with a gap left by Kylian Mbappe.

Achraf Hakimi - Excellent offensively Hakimi scored four goals and added five assists during 25 appearances (20 starts.)

Impact Hakimi may have been rotated heavily but when he was in the starting XI he was one of the most crucial pieces of the starting XI. The full-back caused issues for opposing midfields with his pace and talent on the ball. In the end his offensive contributions were impressive as well, despite playing just under 2,000 minutes.

Warren Zaire-Emery - Takes top job Zaire-Emery scored twice and assisted three times in 26 appearances (21 starts.)

Impact Zaire-Emery was rotated just as frequently as any other piece of the starting XI, but he was clearly the top choice even in the biggest competitions. The fact Zaire-Emery took such a large role at such a young age is a major indicator that he is rated as one of the best young midfielders in the world.

Randal Kolo Muani - Underwhelms in Paris Kolo Muani scored six times and assisted five during 26 appearances (13 starts) in Ligue 1.

Impact Kolo Muani made the switch to PSG after a controversial move away from Eintracht Frankfurt. In the end he didn't live up to the hype in Paris, as he was held to just 11 goal contributions and failed to take the top job for any significant period of time. Still with Kylian Mbappe gone Kolo Muani could see more chances moving forward.

Lucas Beraldo - Immediate starter Beraldo made 13 appearances (13 starts) after making a transfer to PSG.

Impact Beraldo joined PSG mid way through the season and immediately stepped into the starting role. The center-back also deputized at left-back, while contributing in all competitions. Beraldo could see plenty of playing time in the coming years, especially as he forms a pairing with Milan Skriniar.

Manuel Ugarte - Limited in debut season Ugarte made 25 appearances (21 starts) in Ligue 1 during his first season with PSG.

Impact Ugarte's overall totals certainly aren't anything to scoff at, but the midfielder did end up in the cycle of heavy rotation. PSG has always rotated heavily with such a deep squad, so massive minutes may never be on the cards for Ugarte, even when he's great. The midfielder should head into 2024/25 with at least some sort of hold on a starting job.

Marquinhos - Struggles with injury Marquinhos made 21 appearances (18 starts) in Ligue 1.

Impact Marquinhos struggled with a variety of injuries throughout the season, but the biggest one was an Achilles issue. When fit the center-back actually was a frequent starting option, though he was rotated. With such a deep squad there will always be rotation to content with in the PSG starting XI.

Milan Skriniar - Hampered by injury Skirinar made 24 appearances (17 starts) during his first season with PSG.

Impact Skriniar opened his first season in PSG as a nearly guaranteed piece of the starting XI. Injuries later in the season limited his overall minute totals but he finished with a respectable total and seemed to have earned a top role. Skriniar should remain one of the top options in 2024/25.

Danilo Pereira - Steady role continues Danilo continued in his steady role in all competitions, totaling 26 appearances (22 starts.)

Impact Danilo contributed when called upon but wasn't often a major piece of the starting XI, though he still managed over 2,000 minutes. The defender simply doesn't have the talent to be a consistent first choice option, but he flexibility means he continues to see chances when needed.
