Marco Verratti - Withdraws from international duty Verratti has withdrawn from international duty with Italy due to an ankle injury but is expected back by July's preseason start with PSG, L'Equipe reports.

Impact Verratti suffered the blow to his ankle in training and was immediately ruled out for Italy's clash with Argentina. His issue turned out to be a bit more serious however and he's left the Italians' camp completely. Coach Roberto Mancini though sounded confident that the player should be back within a month and should be ready for the start of Parisians' preseason preparation.

Gianluigi Donnarumma - Suffers finger injury vs Germany Donnarumma has suffered a finger injury during Saturday's Nations League 1-1 draw to Germany, L'Equipe reports.

Impact Donnarumma finished the match but suffered his problem on the very last play of the game as he clashed with a German player while trying to capture a ball. The keeper was in a serious discomfort after the final whistle holding his left arm and even had to be tended by the medical staff on the pitch. Coach Roberto Mancini was very reassuring after the game and believes the keeper should be able to return quickly and even take part in the other Italian matches of this June session.

Impact Mbappe suffered a non-contact issue to his knee which is always a scary moment. He had to be tended by the medical staff on the pitch but was able to eventually limp off under his own power late in the first and never returned in the second half. Further evaluation will of course have to determine the full severity.
