Traded to Dallas Arriola has signed a two-year contract with FC Dallas after being traded from D.C. United in exchange for $2 million in General Allocation Money, the club announced Wednesday. Impact Arriola had 20 goals and 15 assists in 92 appearances during his four-and-a-half years in D.C., including six goals in 19 MLS starts last season after missing virtually all of 2020 with a torn ACL. Dallas is getting a locked-on starter who can line up anywhere along the forward line or in attacking midfield, and Arriola will now link up with his USMNT teammate Jesus Ferreira at his new club.
