Impact Miller endured another injury-plagued season, falling short of 30 appearances yet again, however he remained a starter in Portland's back line. He contributed two goals and added 117 clearances, 28 interceptions, and 13 blocks. Despite time on the sidelines, he surpassed 2,000 minutes for the second straight year, a positive sign for his durability. Entering the final year of his contract, Portland will decide whether to exercise his 2027 option based on his fitness and reliability in 2026.

He still managed to contribute two assists, along with 45 tackles and 114 clearances across 2,226 minutes of play. In just 12 appearances, he scored twice, added two assists, created 36 chances, and delivered 70 crosses (16 accurate). With a three-year contract in place, the midfielder is expected to start in 2026 as he prepares for his first full MLS campaign.

Ariel Lassister - Four starts this season Lassiter recorded four starts in 23 MLS appearances (including the playoffs) during the 2025.
Impact Lassiter has spent recent seasons moving between MLS clubs and completed his first year with the Timbers in 2025. Struggling for consistency, he slipped down the depth chart, featuring in only 23 matches, starting only four. Injuries contributed to his limited impact, though he managed three assists and created 10 chances in 542 minutes of play. Entering the final year of his two-year contract with Portland, he is expected to maintain a similar role next season.

James Pantemis - Will return in 2026 Pantemis' option for 2026 was picked up, Portland announced.
Impact Pantemis seems to have won the long-term goalkeeping battle in Portland, as Maxime Crepeau will depart the club. Pantemis ended the season as the starter and seems set to open 2026 with the top job. He kept four clean sheets in 23 starts and made 90 saves in that span. Trey Muse is the only other goalkeeper currently on the roster heading into 2026.
NOVEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Trey Muse - Option extended Muse will return to Portland in 2026 after his option was picked up, Portland announced.
Impact Muse didn't appear in 2025 and has yet to make his MLS debut, but has enough promise that Portland decided to pick up his option. He will remain a depth option for 2026 likely filling the second or third spot on the depth chart unless he impresses in a big way in pre-season.
NOVEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Felipe Mora - Returning to Portland Mora is returning to Portland after his option for 2026 was picked up, Portland announced.
Impact Mora is back for a seventh season with Portland after his contract option for 2026 was picked up. The forward has been a solid piece of the starting XI in each of the past two seasons, though 2025 was disappointing for Mora. He scored seven goals and added three assists, while creating only 18 chances. Mora is still looking for his second season surpassing 2,000 minutes during his time in MLS.
NOVEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Gage Guerra - Option for 2026 taken Guerra's option for 2026 was picked up, Portland announced.
Impact Guerra played just eight times for Portland last season, making no starts and scoring once in that limited role. The forward showed enough that Portland made the decision to bring him back for another season. Guerra isn't likely to take on a larger role during his second season in MLS.
NOVEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Diego Chara - Will return in 2026 Chara's contract option for 2026 was picked up, Portland announced.
Impact Chara is set to return to Portland, despite his role dwindling throughout 2025. The midfielder played just 1,511 minutes in his eighth season with Portland. Chara started the final four matches of the season, and should be a veteran option for 2026 when he's back with the club.

Impact Kelsy took four shots during Sunday's clash, ending his MLS season with a disappointing showing. His volume was decent but he couldn't trouble the San Diego net, and he ended up with just a single shot on goal. Kelsy was solid during his first season in Portland, scoring seven times and adding a pair of assists while setting career-highs across the board. Kelsy is still improving and has plenty of room to grow as a central figure in the attack.

Impact Mosquera came off the bench for the second half and received a straight red card for violent conduct in the 80th minute of the match. He's now suspended for the next league game but must serve that ban in the 2026 campaign. Despite being a consistent starter at right-back, he had a lackluster season as his side struggled defensively. Current options to play in his place are Jimer Fory and Eric Miller.
NOVEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Matias Rojas - On bench against San Diego Rojas (lower body) is on the bench for Sunday's matchup versus San Diego.
Impact Rojas has bounced back to contention following a three-game absence, so he may replace Antony on the right wing at some point. The Paraguayan scored once in seven MLS appearances (five starts) before getting hurt. He also shared set-piece duties with David Da Costa and Kristoffer Velde, which should add to his playmaking value if it continues to be the case in upcoming fixtures.
NOVEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Omir Fernandez - Dealt illness Fernandez is questionable for Sunday's match against San Diego due to an illness, according to the MLS injury report.
Impact Fernandez is going to be a late call for Sunday, as the midfielder picked up an illness this week and could miss out on what could be their final game of the season. Luckily for the club, he is more of a depth option, so this would be a minor loss. Even if he is fit, expect the midfielder to only earn a spot on the bench.
NOVEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Jimer Fory - Available once more Fory is available for Sunday's clash with San Diego.
Impact Fory served a one-match ban and is available for the third match of the first round against San Diego. The defender was sent off in the first match of the series and missed the home leg. He's now eligible for a return directly to the starting XI as the top-choice left-back.
