Martin Odegaard - Registers three shots in winOdegaard registered three shots (zero on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest.
ImpactOdegaard had a decent match against Nottingham, nothing three crosses, three shots, and one chance created in his 90 minutes of play. The Norwegian midfielder wasn't as involved in the match as he usually is but still found space on the edge of the box multiple times to create opportunities for Arsenal. Odegaard will be a normal starter this whole season if he avoids injury after starting 37 of 38 matches last season and will always be a good shout for a goal contribution being the Gunner's midfield maestro.

William Saliba - Picks up rare assistSaliba assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest.
ImpactSaliba bagged an abnormal assist in Saturday's match after finding Bukayo Saka for Arsenal's second goal of the match. It is only Saliba's second assist in the Premier League since joining Arsenal last season. The central defender had no real contribution in the back against Nottingham due to Arsenal controlling the ball, only notching a clearance in the defense.

Gabriel Martinelli - Provides assist in winMartinelli assisted once to go with two crosses (two accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest.
ImpactMartinelli had a very strong start to the game, picking up an assist in the 26th minute, but his production started to die off before being subbed off in the 86th minute. It was a strong first 45 for the Brazilian but after the half time break he struggled to contribute to the match and was lucky to not pick up a yellow card for a silly challenge. Martinelli is sure to be a normal starter once again this season after breaking into the scene last year with 20 goal contribution's in his 34 matches in the Premier League.

Edward Nketiah - Scores opening goalNketiah scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-1 victory versus Nottingham Forest.
ImpactNketiah scored Arsenal's opening goal of the match on a thunderous strike into the bottom corner from within the box. Other than his goal the 24-year-old had a fairly poor game, only contributing three shots in a game controlled by Arsenal. He was given the start in Saturday's season opener due to Gabriel Jesus still being sidelined with a knee injury but could be back on the bench as early as next match. Jesus is still considered a game time decision for the Crystal Palace match but if he is considered healthy Nketiah could be back to his normal bench role.

Bukayo Saka - Scores winning goal against ForestSaka scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal), nine crosses (one accurate) and four corners in Saturday's 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest.
ImpactSara looked great in Arsenal's season opener, scoring a beautiful goal on a curling shot from outside the box. The 21-year-old looked like his normal self creating chaos in the attack, providing three shots, nine crosses and three chances created in the match. The young winger is keen on a great 23-24 season and could be set for another great match as he takes on the much weaker Crystal Palace in his next match.

Aaron Ramsdale - Loses clean sheet lateRamsdale had one save and allowed one goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory versus Nottingham Forest.
ImpactRamsdale had a particularly quiet game in net, only facing two shots on target, but still failed to keep a clean sheet in Saturday's win. You could say he was unfortunate to lose his clean sheet in the 82nd minute, but ultimately the English keeper could've done better in his attempt at a save. Ramsdale tied for second in clean sheets last season with 14 and has a great chance at his first this season against Crystal Palace in Arsenal's next match.

Morgan Gibbs-White - Decent production in lossGibbs-White had one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Arsenal.
ImpactGibbs-White didn't have a terrible performance but did not contribute much towards Saturday's outcome against Arsenal. The 23-year-old is usually leaned on as Nottingham's playmaker but was kept quiet by Mikel Arteta tactics, only contributing one shot, four crosses and once chance created in 90 minutes of play. He will have a better chance to display his talents and to get on the score sheet in his next match against Sheffield United.
