Julian Alvarez - Four shots against NottinghamAlvarez recorded four shots (two on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest.
ImpactAlvarez had a decent outing in 57 minutes of play, registering one tackle, three crosses and four shots in the win. This was the first time he hasn't bagged a goal contribution in three matches. It was easily the Argentine's least productive game of the season after getting off to a flying start in the first couple of matches, already notching five goal contributions in the Premier League this campaign. He is yet to miss a start in all competitions this season and should remain a starter especially with Kevin De Bruyne out injured until December and multiple other teammates out with small knocks.

Kyle Walker - Registers rare assistWalker assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
ImpactWalker registered a rare assist in Saturday's match after finding Phil Foden for the opening goal of the match. It was Walker's first assist of the year and also his first since the 2021/22 campaign. However, he didn't contribute a whole lot in the defense, only notching two clearances. The defender had a lot of questions hanging over his head going into the season with Rico Lewis and Nathan Ake contending for more playing time and a possible move out with an expiring contract, but has silenced the questions by starting every match for City this season. He seems to still be a main part of Pep's plans and should continue in the starting role.

Matheus Nunes - First assist as a BlueMatheus Nunes assisted once to go with one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
ImpactNunes had another great performance, bagging an assist in the 14th minute after finding Erling Haaland for the second goal of the match. The Portuguese midfielder has now started the past two games for City and has been excellent, notching two shots, two crosses and seven chances created to go along with his goal. He could contend for a starting spor for the time being but will have a a much more difficult time making the starting XI once Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic return from injury.

Phil Foden - Scores openerFoden scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and four corners in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus Nottingham Forest.
ImpactFoden wasted no time notching City's first goal, scoring in the seventh minute off of a Kyle Walker assist to take a 1-0 lead. This was the attacker's first goal of the season, bringing his goal contribution count to four in the Premier League. It was another decent game for the England native as he continues to fill in for the injured Kevin De Bruyne, notching one shot, a chance created, two crosses and a couple of tackles. Foden will have a starting spot locked up for now, but once De Bruyne returns he might have to fight for a routine spot in the starting XI with the likes of Jeremy Doku, Matheus Nunes, Julian Alvarez and Mateo Kovacic all making waves in the starting lineup this season.

Erling Haaland - Nets goal in winHaaland scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
ImpactHaaland added another goal to this season's tally after finding the back of the net in the 14th minute to take a 2-0 lead. He now has eight goals through four matches this season. The Norwegian has struggled to be clinical with his chances this year, having eight goals on 31 shots in the Premier League this season, but was better today after scoring on only two shots. He is already having a great season, but if he were able to convert on the numerous chances he has missed by literal inches, he would be on pace for another historic campaign.

Ederson - Clean sheet in winEderson registered three saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 58th minute.
ImpactEderson picked up his third clean sheet of the season after making three saves in the win against Nottingham on Saturday. This was his first clean sheet in four matches, allowing a singular goal in each of those matches. His next match will be of similar difficulty when he takes on Wolverhampton.

Morgan Gibbs-White - Five crosses in lossGibbs-White generated three shots (zero on goal), five crosses (one accurate) and five corners in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City. In addition, he was given a yellow card...
ImpactGibbs-White has a pretty poor match for his standards, only registering one tackle, three shots and five crosses in the loss. The attacker wouldn't have had much production in the match if it weren't for his five corners, but even with those he struggled to make an impact on the pitch. He was swamped by the City defenders for most of the game and should be able to provide a little more in his next matcha against Brentford.
