Andre Onana - No saves in lossOnana made no saves and allowed three goals in Sunday's 3-0 loss versus Liverpool.
ImpactOnana failed to stop any of the three shots on his goal, as Liverpool beat him with 2 low finishes. The goalkeeper isn't an elite shot stopper, but he should have more upside against weaker opponents in the Premier League. Onana has conceded multiple goals in two of the opening three matches in the league, a disappointing return.

Matthijs De Ligt - Makes first startDe Ligt registered one tackle (one won), one clearance and one interception in Sunday's 3-0 loss versus Liverpool. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 65th minute.
ImpactDe Ligt got the start alongside Lisandro Martinez, and had some decent moments, but was largely picked apart by the Liverpool attack. De Ligt is a solid defensive option, and he will do well with his new club in a larger role. Still against top opponents, De Ligt has less upside as United seem to be a level below the elite of the league.

Bruno Fernandes - Single shot in lossBruno Fernandes registered one shot (zero on goal), six crosses (one accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 3-0 loss to Liverpool.
ImpactFernandes was disappointing during Sunday's loss, he struggled to make the most of his chances and was shut down entirely by the dominant defense. The attacking midfielder will remain one of the top options in the Premier League in easier matches, which is almost every other opponent in the league.

Joshua Zirkzee - Misses chancesZirkzee had three shots (two on goal) in Sunday's 3-0 loss against Liverpool. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 23rd minute.
ImpactZirkzee had a few top quality chances during Sunday's loss, but failed to convert any of them. It was a frustrating performance from the young striker, though his movement and ability to get free in the box was excellent. The forward will hope to keep that good creativity going after the break, with eyes on improving his end product.

Alisson - Another clean sheetAlisson recorded three saves and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 3-0 victory against Manchester United.
ImpactAlisson stopped all three shots he faced, including a couple brilliant close-range saves. Alisson has now kept three clean sheets in a row, and if he can keep this form going he could trouble 20 clean sheets yet again. Alisson is an excellent option and at his best is one of the favorites for the golden glove.

Virgil Van Dijk - Brilliant defensivelyvan Dijk had two tackles (zero won), 11 clearances and three interceptions in Sunday's 3-0 win against Manchester United. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 55th minute...
Impactvan Dijk was excellent behind the ball, keeping a third clean sheet in a row, this time in Old Trafford. The center-back is an excellent option, and is utterly brilliant player, who has now gone three full matches in a row without a goal conceded. Liverpool are looking like one of the top defensive options in the league, giving van Dijk excellent upside for clean sheets.
