Pedro Porro - Eight crosses in winPorro generated two shots (zero on goal), eight crosses (zero accurate) and four corners in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Brentford.
ImpactPorro recorded eight crosses Wednesday, his fifth match this season with eight or more. However, he failed to record one accurate cross and did not create a chance for the first time since Oct. 27. This dip in production may be linked to the return of James Maddison, as Porro took on the role of primary creator during Maddison's lengthy injury absence. In the 11 matches Porro and Maddison both started, Porro has just one assist compared to his six assists in 10 matches without Maddison. While Porro will still be a creative force for Spurs, he may take a step back from his elite run of form with Maddison back in the lineup.

James Maddison - Returns to PL action WednesdayMaddison recorded four shots (zero on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and three chances created in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Brentford.
ImpactAfter making a cameo in Friday's FA Cup match versus Manchester City, Maddison finally returned to Premier League action Wednesday versus Brentford. He picked up right where he left off, recording a plethora of shots, chances created and crosses. He also played well defensively, recording three tackles, one interception and one blocked shot. He was subbed off in the 88th minute with what appeared to be a cramp, however it is worth monitoring with the next match coming on short rest.

Timo Werner - Another assist WednesdayWerner assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and three chances created in Wednesday's 3-2 win against Brentford.
ImpactWerner recorded his second assist in as many matches Wednesday as his excellent low cross found a wide-open Brennan Johnson who scored the tap-in goal in the 49th minute. Werner nearly had another assist just a minute before too, but Destiny Udogie's initial shot was deflected before he eventually found the back of the net. Werner has been off to a great start in his return to the Premier League and is likely to start again on the left Saturday at Everton as Son Heung-Min remains away at the Asia Cup.

Brennan Johnson - Scores off bench WednesdayJohnson scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and two chances created in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Brentford.
ImpactJohnson scored in Wednesday's win as Timo Werner's excellent cross in the 49th minute found him on the far-right post for a tap-in goal. It was Johnson's only shot in the match but it was good enough for his second Premier League goal of the season. He also created two chances, won one tackle and made one clearance in his 45 minutes off the bench.

Iyenoma Destiny Udogie - Scores goal and gives two awayUdogie scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Wednesday's 3-2 victory against Brentford.
ImpactUdogie had a poor performance for his standards Wednesday as two of his lazy passes were intercepted and led directly to Brentford goals. The second one was especially bad as he attempted to pass the ball back to Guglielmo Vicario and did not see Brentford's Ivan Toney right by him. Toney easily intercepted the pass and then calmly beat Vicario to cut Spurs' lead to 3-2 and give his side a chance. Although those two mistakes were very poor, he also had a moment of brilliance at the start of the second half as he made a run into the box, played a one-two with Timo Werner and scored his second goal of the season, a goal that sparked Spurs' three-goal barrage in an eight-minute span to take the match over. Udogie also tied a season-high with six clearances and created two chances for the fourth time this season in his full 90 minutes of action.

Richarlison - Another game, another goalRicharlison scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) in Wednesday's 3-2 win versus Brentford.
ImpactRicharlison is one of the most on-form players in the Premier League currently after scoring his seventh goal in as many matches Wednesday. He scored Spurs' third goal of the match in the 56th minute as he converted on a wide-open net after James Maddison's shot was deflected right to Richarlison's feet. Spurs' attack is nearly fully fit -- with the exception of Son Heung-Min who will return from the Asia Cup soon -- and Richarlison appears to have locked down a position in that starting XI after a shaky start to his Tottenham career.

Guglielmo Vicario - Concedes twice in winVicario made three saves and allowed two goals in Wednesday's 3-2 victory over Brentford.
ImpactVicario conceded the first goal and the last goal of Wednesday's match but still secured three points thanks to his attack's great second half effort. He has now conceded multiple goals in 11 of his 22 Premier League starts, with two of those outings being against Brentford. Next up he heads to Everton Saturday, a side which has scored 24 goals in 22 matches this season. Vicario made a season-high seven saves and conceded one goal versus Everton on Dec. 23.
