ImpactBowen couldn't make it two matches straight with a goal Saturday but still had one of the better performances of any West Ham player, notching two shots, two chances created and a team-leading five crosses in the loss. He continues to produce in the crossing department even when the offense isn't at its best, registering 15 this season while also taking eight corner kicks.

ImpactKudus couldn't get on the scoresheet Saturday but still produced a decent outing in a match mostly dominated by City, with the attacker registering three shots and three crosses. He still has yet to bag a goal contribution this campaign, hoping that will come soon so he can start working away at his 14 from the last season.

ImpactFabianski would take over duties in net following halftime after usual starter Alphonse Areola was helped off the pitch due to an apparent injury. He wasn't terrible in his short-notice appearance, registering two saves and allowing one goal. He will likely continue in net if Areola cannot return next match, although that is still up in the air.

ImpactDias gave West Ham their only chance of hope Saturday, as before City would go on to bag two more goals and put away the match, Dias would accidentally tie the game in the 19th minute after scoring an own goal. Outside of the own goal, he was decent in the defense, registering one interception and six clearances. He continues to be a regular starter, starting and playing the full 90 in all three contests to begin the season.

This is now three straight exceptional performances, notching one goal on 12 shots and one assist on 11 chances created to go along with 24 crosses in the club's three games thus far. With number's like this, he is likely to see more goal contributions in the furture, although his value could take a hit once Foden is back healthy.

ImpactNunes only appeared off the bench for 18 minutes Saturday but still had a crucial play in the match after finding Erling Haaland in the 83rd minute for the club's third and final goal of the match. He continues to see time in a rotational role and is likely to remain in that spot moving forward, only appearing twice for a total of 19 minutes off the bench in the club's three contests this campaign.
