Alvaro Garcia - Dealing with muscular problem Garcia is dealing with a minor muscular problem and won't be available for Saturday's friendly match against Wolverhampton, according to Union Rayo.

Impact The injury is not expected to be serious, and Garcia shouldn't have issues to be available for the Aug. 18 season opener at Real Sociedad. Rayo are simply being extra cautious with a player that figures to be a regular starter in 2024/25.

Adri Embarba - Remains in La Liga Embarba has agreed to a a loan move to Rayo Vallecano from Almeria for the 2024/25 season.

Impact With Embarba having a solid year with Almeria, he is set to continue his journey in La Liga following the team's relegation. He started 29 times in 36 appearances, scoring three goals with two assists while totaling 171 crosses (40 won), which averaged to about 4.75 per game. With Rayo, the midfielder is set to compete for a starting role after having been a regular start in Spain for the last three campaigns.

Miguel Angel Morro - Back with Rayo Morro has completed his loan spell with Villarreal and will return to Rayo Vallecano ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Impact Morro failed to make a senior appearance with Villarreal this season, spending most of his time with the reserves. He recorded just nine appearance with Villarreal B, allowing 16 goals with a clean sheet.
