The midfielder will be part of one of the most depth midfields in the league with Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric competition for a starting spot next season.

Impact Camavinga was not expected to get much playing time, but injuries opened the door for him to get minutes while stunning manager Carlo Ancelotti with his ability to play outside back during the second half of the season. With Ferland Mendy and David Alaba dealing with injuries at the same time, the Frenchman learned and took over the left back position and totaled 36 tackles (23 won) from defense, while averaging about 2.1 tackles per match. He could challenge Mendy for a starting spot for the 2023/24 campaign if he keeps up his form.
