Zac MacMath - Heroic in loss MacMath made four saves and one penalty save in Monday's 3-2 loss against Minnesota United.

Impact MacMath was absolutely incredible against Minnesota. The keeper saved a penalty and four of seven shots besides that in one of the performances of the season. Despite that he came away with the loss as the Salt Lake defense was completely blown away by Minnesota. MacMath will face another tough task against Colorado next time out.

Aaron Herrera - Four crosses Sunday Herrera had one shot (zero on goal) and four crosses (zero accurate) in Monday's 3-2 loss against Minnesota United.

Impact Herrera sent in four crosses in yet another high-volume performance against Minnesota. The right back was good for four tackles and three interceptions as he filled the stat sheet on both sides of the ball. Herrera is a consistently strong right-back even with an awful start to the season offensively (no goals or assists in 12 appearances.) Herrera would need an amazing second half to have any chance of getting nears his one goal and 10 assists from 2021.

Sergio Cordova - Three shots in loss Cordova had three shots (one on goal), three crosses (one accurate), and one chance created in Monday's 3-2 defeat against Minnesota United.

Impact Cordova was shut down by an impressive Minnesota defense as his slump continues. The striker only has three goals and one assist so far in 17 appearances and has struggled for any sort of impact in 2022. Cordova will hope to finally start to find some form against Colorado next time out, as Salt Lake continue to struggle for goal-scoring up top.

Impact Julio scored his first goal of the campaign off the bench during Sunday's defeat. The striker hasn't been a consistent option in any way, with only 89 minutes played across five appearances despite his goal and assist in that time. Julio will hope to find more playing time against Colorado next time out, but it's likely he finds himself back on the bench.

Jefferson Savarino - Nets in loss Savarino scored one goal and assisted once from three shots and six chances created in Monday's 3-2 defeat against Minnesota United.

Impact Savarino was pretty much the entire Salt Lake offense from the right side of midfield in just his third start of the season. Savarino was brilliant for Salt Lake before departing for Atletico Miniero and seems to not have missed a beat coming back and scoring twice and adding two assists in his first three starts. Savarino will be right back in the starting XI against Colorado on Saturday.

Impact Rubin replaced an injured Bobby Wood (groin) on Saturday, and he could now be in for a return to the starting lineup following Wood's surgery this week that is expected to keep him out until August. Rubin tallied eight goals and five assists in 2021 but has been relegated to a backup role so far this season. Bobby Wood - Undergoes surgery Wood (groin) is expected to miss 8-10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his adductor, Real Salt Lake announced Friday.

Impact Wood had to come off in the first half of last weekend's win over San Jose due to the adductor injury he suffered, and he is now set to miss an extended period of time following this surgery. He has three goals and one assist in 14 MLS appearances (13 starts) so far, but the club is confident that he will return to fitness by the end of the season, and the expected recovery timeline would point to a return some time in August. Rubio Rubin will likely be the preferred option to replace him up front alongside Sergio Cordova, but Jefferson Savarino (normally a right winger) could also be trialled in the position.
