Mohamed-Ali Cho - Transfers to Real Sociedad Cho has signed a five-year contract with Real Sociedad after transferring from Angers, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Cho had a solid breakout season with Angers in 2021/22, tallying four goals and an assist in 32 Ligue 1 appearances (21 starts), after featuring just 21 times (with one start) in 2020/21. Stephane Bahoken will likely step into his forward spot at the French club while Cho now takes the next step in his career in moving to La Real, where he will be a backup to Alexander Isak Alexander Sorloth up front with plenty of time still to grow and develop as the 18-year-old has signed on through the 2026/27 campaign.

Ander Barrenetxea - Still dealing with hamstring injury Barrenetxea missed the final four months of the season with a bad hamstring injury.

Impact Barrenetxea had an unfortunate 2020/21 campaign after picking up a hamstring injury early January. Hamstring injuries are a nagging issue and he can't fully train until he's completely over the issue, so there's no guarantee when he'll be ready. Even then, the youngster is fighting for minutes in the squad having appeared in just 11 matches (six starts) prior to his injury.

Impact Lobete scored two goals in 13 La Liga appearances (two starts) during his debut season with Sociedad's senior team, but the 21-year-old forward has only featured twice since the turn of the calendar year and he remains more a part of the youth team setup at the moment.

Impact Januzaj scored three goals in 33 La Liga appearances (17 starts) this season, and narrowly beat out his 2017/18 campaign to finish this one with a new personal record of most league minutes played. But the 27-year-old dealt with a few injuries in February and early March and then only started in two of Sociedad's final nine matches.
