Scores in win over Dallas Schlegel scored a goal off his lone shot and made three tackles (two won), two clearances and one interception during Saturday's 3-1 win over Dallas.

Impact Schlegel was solid defensively despite not exactly stuffing the stat sheet but his biggest contribution came on offense as he used a powerful header off a corner kick from the left to make it 2-0 for Orlando in the 51st minute. This was the first goal of the year for the center-back, who's not having the same fantasy numbers from the last two seasons but still has the ability to provide some nice stats.

Set to return Wednesday Schlegel completed his one-game suspension and will be eligible to face Inter Miami on Wednesday.

Impact Schlegel has started in five of his seven appearances this season, and while he often operates in a backup role. he's likely to move right back into the starting lineup for the derby Wednesday since Robin Jansson (undisclosed) is unlikely to be fit after sustaining an injury over the weekend.

Extends contract with Orlando Schlegel has signed a two-year contract extension with the option to further extend for two additional seasons with Orlando City, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Schlegel has kept 12 clean sheets in 66 MLS appearances (47 starts) across his three campaigns in Orlando, and last season he was a regular in central defense as both Robin Jansson and Antonio Carlos battled through long-term injuries. The 25-year-old has now signed on with the club through 2024 at least.
