Mats Hummels - Signs with Roma Hummels has inked a one-year contract with Roma, the team announced.

Impact Hummels found a team past deadline day after leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of June and will predictably need some time to get up to speed physically. He appeared 38 times last season, posting 105 tackles, 145 clerances and 88 interceptions and contributing to 11 clean sheets. Roma might switch to a three-man line after signing him and Mario Hermoso, which would increase his chances of being a regular. Otherwise, he'll tussle for minutes also with Gianluca Mancini and Evan N'Dicka.

Impact Hermoso found a landing spot after searching for the entire summer and comes in as Chris Smalling departs.
