Impact Adekugbe has increased his workload since suffering a severe blow in June, but he's yet to make an appearance and could remain sidelined for a few more weeks before rejoining the match squad. Still, the Canadian international may have a chance to feature in upcoming MLS action, offering an option in the competition with Tate Johnson at left-back.

Impact Adekugbe has been sidelined since late May due to a torn Achilles but is progressing well during his recovery since he was spotted training with the ball on Monday and back on grass. This looks promising since he could be set to return at the very beginning of the 2026 MLS season. The Canadian has been a regular starter for the Whitecaps and should regain that role once fully back fit to feature.
