Available to face Leicester Johnstone (calf) is "fit" and available for Saturday's clash against Leicester City, according to Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson on Thursday.

Impact Johnstone has been out since late February with a calf injury, but he's expected to be able to return to his backup goalkeeping duties behind Vicente Guaita (hamstring) this weekend. Joe Whitworth started Palace's last two games prior to the international break while Guaita and Johnstone were both injured.

Suffers calf injury Johnstone is expected to miss around six weeks after picking up a calf injury, Matt Woosnam of The Athletic reported Wednesday.

Impact Johnstone's only appearances this season have come in the Carabao Cup, but he will likely be sidelined until April with this injury. Joseph Whitworth should take over as Palace's backup to Vicente Guaita in goal until Johnstone can return.
