Impact Morsy is available Saturday, but he may not be fit enough for the start. The midfielder has started all but one match, and gone the full 90 almost every week. Impact Morsy didn't see much action in the attack due to the relentless press and possession of Manchester City but still provided on the defensive side of the ball despite the loss, notching one block, four clearances and six tackles. He has now started in both matches this campaign, although he hasn't been too productive, with most of his stats coming on the defensive side of the ball.

Signs new contract Morsy has signed a new contract with Ipswich Town, according to the club.

Impact Morsy has extended his stay with the newly promoted Ipswich Town, as he has inked a deal to remain with the club until the summer of 2026. He was solid in the past season, starting in all 42 appearances while notching two goals on 34 shots and six assists on 52 chances created. He is likely to continue in a regular starting role this next season, set to be an integral part of the team if they want to remain in the Premier League for another campaign.
