Impact Surridge completed the move to MLS with Nashville after departing Nottingham Forest. The striker failed to take a starting role in 2022-23, with just one start (20 appearances. In Nashville he should be in line for a major role and some excellent chances with reigning MVP Hany Mukhtar alongside him.

Grabs equalizer from bench Surridge came on from the bench to score from his only shot-on-target. He also had a shot blocked in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth.
Impact Surridge came on from the bench after 75 to replace Chris Wood. Forest were pushing to find a late equalizer and Surridge delivered with his first goal of the season. The former Cherrie has made only one start in 13 appearances. He is frequently used by The Garibaldi's manager, Steve Cooper, as a second half substitute to try and inject attacking energy into a game. It certainly worked on Saturday.

Starts opener Surridge started and played 63 minutes, shooting twice off target during Saturday's 2-0 loss to Newcastle.
Impact Surridge was back in the starting XI after recovering from groin surgery and went just over 60 minutes in the loss. The forward might not be a nailed-on starter for Nottingham Forest after making just seven starts for the club in 2021/22, though he did score seven times and assist twice in that time. Surridge will be competing with new signing Taiwo Awoniyi for starting minutes, with the latter favored to secure the job long-term.

Impact Surridge underwent groin surgery at the end of the 2021/22 season but recently returned to training and got some minutes in Wednesday's friendly. The forward made 40 appearances (13 starts) during the 2021/22 campaign across time with Stoke City and Nottingham Forest. Surridge isn't likely to be a regular starter given new signing but could have some upside if injuries pop up ahead of him in the depth chart.

Recovering from groin surgery Surridge disclosed Wednesday that he's been recovering from groin surgery performed at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Impact Surridge scored a solid nine goals in 40 appearances last season between Stoke and Nottingham Forest in the EFL Championship despite only starting 13 times. Now in England's top division, Surridge could certainly get a few chances, but recovering from his injury and an increase in minutes would make him more worthwhile.
