Adrien Silva - Eligible to face Verona Silva is available for Saturday's match against Verona after serving a two-game suspension.

Impact Silva missed the last two matches for insulting a referee. He will be back into the fold and will compete with either Albin Ekdal or some attackers. The coach has used different schemes and might go with a more crowded midfield with Silva now available. He has recorded one assist, 14 tackles, 15 interceptions and 17 clearances in 11 matches (eight starts).

Valerio Verre - Gets the start against Salernitana Verre (thigh) took one off-target shot, created one scoring chance, sent in one accurate cross and had three clearances in 61 minutes in Sunday's 2-0 win over Salernitana.

Impact Verre got the nod upon returning from a three-game absence. He should have a consistent role with Mikkel Damsgaard unlikely to return anytime soon. He will split time with the other Sampdoria attackers depending on the scheme. He has posted four chances created, eight crosses and seven shots in six games (three starts). Sampdoria will host Verona Saturday.

Impact Verre is good to go after missing three matches due to a thigh problem. He will provide much-needed depth on the flanks since Mikkel Damsgaard and Mohammed Ihattaren are sidelined. He has tallied six shots, three chances created and seven crosses in five appearances (two starts).

Those numbers are less than ideal and he will need to improve along with his defense before he can be trusted.

Impact Thorsby was saved by his last-ditch of an effort when he scored the only goal for Sampdoria on Sunday. The midfielder has yet to hit a stride this season and he continues to be useless each match. However, over his last four matches, he seems to be finding form with two goals and one assist.

Impact Candreva is a threat game in and game out on the flank and he showed why once more. The midfielder pounced on the ball every opportunity and he continued to generate the bulk of his value from crosses. Over his last five appearances, he is averaging, 1.4 shots, 2.6 created chances, 9.0 crosses and 3.0 corners per 90 minutes in all competitions.

Impact Gabbiadini remained goalless for yet another game in the loss Sunday. The forward has never truly made a name for himself and his lack of shooting accuracy is his biggest weakness. Luckily, he is splitting set-pieces right now with teammate Antonio Candreva, otherwise, Gabbiadini would not have any value.

The center-back stood tall against the dynamic Bologna attack and he even managed to clear the ball off the goal line to keep them in the match. Yoshida would eventually set up the tying goal from a set-piece as well. Unfortunately, he continues to lack fantasy production though with minimal peripherals.

Impact Damsgaard has been on the mend since the second break due to a thigh strain, but he recently suffered also a knee problem that forced him to have the operation. He is tentatively expected to be sidelined for a month, therefore he should miss at least the next three matches. Since Valerio Verre and Mohammed Ihattaren are also unavailable, Sampdoria tilted their scheme to make it more defensive in recent games and that could be the case going forward.
