Impact Marcinkowski faced just four shots and stopped only one on the way to yet another loss. It's been a brutal campaign for San Jose and Marcinkowski, with just three clean sheets from 31 appearances and 107 saves in that time to go with 64 goals conceded it's quickly looking like a season to forget. Barring a major step forward by the San Jose defense the final two matches of the campaign will be tough for Marcinkowski.

Miguel Trauco - First MLS assist Trauco assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Los Angeles Galaxy.

Impact Trauco came off the bench for 32 minutes to make his MLS debut and provided an assist immediately. The left-back generally isn't an overly productive creator, with just four assists across three seasons with St. Etienne. That said Trauco should have the talent to establish himself as a consistent starter heading into the 2023 campaign with San Jose.

Impact Nathan scored once, his third goal overall and second goal in the last three matches. The center-back isn't the sort of goal threat that this run of form makes him look like, but he has been productive, filling the stat sheet with ease for the most part. Nathan will continue to be a nailed-on starter for the final two matches of the campaign.

The right-winger was looking like this was going to be a season to forget heading into the final two months, but he has caught fire and now sits above 20 goal contributions. Espinoza has two more games left in the regular season as he looks to keep adding to an already career-high return.

Impact Akapo is still recovering from a fractured bone in his foot that he suffered in May with Cadiz, which has postponed his MLS debut since he transferred to the Earthquakes almost two months ago. But he's been taken off the injury report and will hope to be able to feature in Saturday's Cali Classico against Los Angeles.

Impact Yueill missed last weekend's draw against Dallas with a knee injury, but he may be fit enough to return to the squad on Saturday. He has started 28 of the Earthquakes' 31 MLS matches this season mostly in midfield.

Impact Marcinkowski made one save as he took yet another loss. It's been an utterly brutal campaign for the keeper and San Jose as a whole, sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference with just three clean sheets throughout 33 starts. Marcinkowski will hope to finish the season strong, but there's little that can salvage the campaign for the goalkeeper. The one positive for Marcinkowski has been the absurd volume of shots the San Jose defense allows pushing Marcinkowski past 100 saves for the second straight campaign.

Impact Beason filled the stat sheet behind the ball despite making another start at left-back. Beason is a center-back naturally so he tends to offer next to nothing going forward even when shifted over to the left side of the backline. Beason has no goal contributions on the season but has managed career-highs in tackles (36), interceptions (42), and clearances (79).
