Impact After three consecutive pedestrian performances, Pinamonti got back on the scoresheet Sunday. Now with more than 10 goals across his current season, the striker is only two short of tying his career best in the category, 13 that he logged during Empoli's 2021-22 campaign.

Impact While unable to log an assist for a third consecutive game, Doig's latest appearance was given with a valiant effort. It marked the first time since Feb. 24. in which he attempted at least five crosses. Since then, Doig has logged 34 crosses (seven accurate) across 10 appearances.

Impact For the fifth time across his last six games, Consigli has conceded multiple goals. But unlike most of the other four, he failed to compensate for his concessions with any saves. Consigli will look to redeem himself when Sassuolo's team hosts Cagliari on May 19.

Impact Thorstvedt gutted it out for the second week in a row despite an ailment but clearly wasn't at his best and was laboring while subbing off after an hour. It remains to be seen whether he'll continue to play through his injury given his importance to the team or will be shut down for a little while to get better. He has scored and assisted once in the last five rounds, logging four shots (two on target), three key passes and four tackles (three won).

Mattia Viti - Unused versus Inter Viti (illness) didn't feature in Saturday's 1-0 win over Inter.

Impact Viti dropped to the bench after three straight starts and didn't get minutes even though Sassuolo used an extra defender, likely because of his imperfect conditions. He'll compete with Josh Doig, Gianmarco Ferrari and Marash Kumbulla going forward.

Next up he faces the already crowned champion Inter Milan on Saturday, a side which has scored 81 goals in 34 league matches this season.
