Impact Petersen will be out at least two matches as he deals with a knee injury the club hopes can heal without surgery. Surgery would likely shut him down for multiple months, and perhaps the season, so two matches out is a small price to pay to give him the chance to heal. Petersen wasn't a consistent starter, and won't get to resume his bid for a starting spot until after the international break.

The defender has been a stout fantasy option with immaculate consistency across the first seven matches. There's no reason for that to change after the break, as he remains a top fantasy option.
