Impact Ragen had a solid campaign for the Sounders, however, he missed time midseason with a hamstring injury. He recorded two goals with an assist while collecting 128 clearances, 23 blocks, and five clean sheets. The defender will likely remain the team's top option at center back after three successful campaigns as a starter for the Sounders.

Reed Baker-Whiting - Only makes eight starts in 2025 Baker-Whiting recorded eight starts in 14 MLS appearances for Seattle.
Impact Baker-Whiting opened the season with a long-term injury, struggling to regain fitness, which limited him for the 2025 season, despite being called up for the U20 World Cup with the USMNT. He contributed one assist, along with 20 crosses and 17 tackles in 542 minutes of play.

Impact Roldan has been Seattle's most durable player since 2021, appearing in 30+ matches per year. He has tallied two assists, 60 crosses, 49 tackles (39 won), and 98 clearances. The defender enters the final year of his contract but has options for an additional year, as he remains the top right-back option for the Sounders.

The midfielder will return for his fourth year of a five-year contract with Seattle and is now one of the team's veteran players.

Impact Nouhou is one of a plethora of Seattle players returning to the club after their contract options were picked up. The defender was a huge part of the defense and elite contributor last season. He made 30 appearances and 28 starts and played a huge role as he has since joining the club in 2017. Nouhou will remain a key figure for 2026.

Danny Musovski - Returning after brilliant 2025 Musovski is returning after his contract option was picked up, Seattle announced.
Impact Musovski's contract was always going to be picked up, nobody, team nor player, expected anything like his brilliant 2025. He scored 16 goals and added 15 assists in just 1,708 minutes. Those were all career-highs by a large margin, the question now will be if Musovski can replicate that in 2026.

Kalani Kossa-Rienzi - Option exercised Kossa-Rienzi's option for 2026 was picked up, Seattle announced.
Impact Kossa-Rienzi is returning to Seattle after his option was exercised. The midfielder had a breakout campaign in 2025, making 23 appearances (15 starts) and scoring three times with two assists. It was a solid campaign all-around and a great spot to build from for 2026.

Impact Kim is set to return to Seattle for a second season as he continues his second stint. The defender was decent on his return to the club, making 15 appearances (10 starts) and largely being limited by injuries. Kim should contend for consistent minutes in 2026 if he can stay healthy.

Impact Yeimar's contract being picked up is one of the less surprising moves of the off-season. The defender is a brilliant option whenever fit and has been a rock in the backline throughout his time in Seattle. Yeimar made 27 starts last season and helped contribute to five clean sheets. In 2023 and 2024 Yeimar contributed to 26 combined clean sheets.

Impact Frei turned aside two of five Minnesota shots on target Saturday as Seattle were eliminated from the playoffs in a 3-3 (10-9) loss at Minnesota. With penalty kicks top of mind, the veteran keeper was subbed-off in favor of Andrew Thomas after 89 minutes of play. After making 351 appearances for Seattle since 2014, the veteran keeper is out of contract heading into the offseason.
