Extends contract with Austin Driussi has signed a three-year contract extension with Austin FC with the option to further add an additional year, the club announced Tuesday.
Impact Driussi exploded onto the MLS scene last season, finishing as the MVP runner up as he posted 25 goals and five assists while leading Austin all the way to a surprise No. 2 seeding in the Western Conference. The 27-year-old has now signed on with the club through 2025 at least and he'll want to continue his devastation in attacking midfield in this campaign.

Impact Driussi almost single-handedly catapulted his Austin FC into the next round of the playoffs with a man of the match-type performance. In addition to scoring two goals during regulation (one from the spot), he converted his penalty shootout attempt as well and will hope to be similarly brilliant as the postseason rolls along.
