Impact Navas came close on a few occasions with dangerous plays but it wasn't enough to earn the points on the road. Between he and both Marcos Acuna and Alex Telles, this could be another high-volume crossing season from the full-backs on this team, though more assists are certainly needed. Additionally, Gonzalo Montiel could share minutes with Navas who is nearing the end of his career and can't play in every game.

Impact Corona had a quiet performance and completed a far lower number of passes than all except the strikers. He'll need to step up the pace or Erik Lamela, who took his spot in this game, could take his spot in the lineup or force them to split minutes.

Impact For a few years now, Isco has surely deserved a bigger role with Real Madrid, for which he spent the bulk of his career playing for until this summer. He might finally get that at Sevilla, which has made a habit of collecting older but capable attacking talents from Ivan Rakitic to Alejandro Gomez. That being said, there aren't many open spots in the lineup just yet but given some of the fitness and form issues in the attack, it may not be long before Isco gets his chance. As he hasn't been a regular starter since 2017/18, it's definitely worth waiting to find out what kind of job he plays for his new side.
