Ankeye hurt his ankle in a brief cameo versus Lazio and is set to miss the next three games. Andrea Pinamonti and Jeff Ekhator are the only pure strikers available for Genoa.

Ankeye played limited minutes off the bench in Sunday's clash with Lazio due to an ankle injury, Genoa announced.
Impact
Ankeye was inserted to help the offense but got dinged up in a collision with Mario Gila almost right away and eventually bowed out after limping around for a few minutes. He'll have to be assessed before Thursday's game versus Fiorentina. He hasn't played much more than usual lately even if Genoa are without multiple attackers.

Impact
Ankeye made his seasonal debut after dealing with two injuries and could see more action than usual in the coming matches if Caleb Ekuban (thigh) is sidelined. He featured six times off the bench for a total of 52 minutes last season, logging one inaccurate cross and one tackle.
