Mohammed Salisu - Gets sent off Tuesday Salisu was sent off with two yellow cards in the first half of Tuesday's match against Tottenham.

Impact It was an unfortunate half of football for Salisu, who had started all but two matches this season. He put his team in a hole Tuesday and will have to be replaced for Sunday's match against Newcastle with that replacement dependent upon who is available for Southampton.

Moussa Djenepo - Away for AFCON Djenepo has joined up Mali for the upcoming African Cup of Nations and will be out roughly the next month, reports Tom Leach of football.london.

Impact Djenepo has rarely appeared for Southampton the last two months, so he'll go down to Mali early and work on his fitness. It's not a major blow for Southampton, as he's played just 20 minutes since October.

Impact Walker-Peters finally dished his first assist and first major offensive contribution of the campaign. He's been a bit quiet offensively of late but typically holds some upside with occasional shots, crosses and chances created. The full-back hasn't had a clean sheet in six straight matches but has been very productive defensively with 17 tackles, eight interceptions and eight clearances over his past five starts.

Impact Salisu turned in a solid individual defensive stat line but the negative damage from two goals and a caution will likely be too much to overcome in most formats for a decent fantasy day. The center-back hasn't had a clean sheet in five straight matches now but has been a very solid fantasy factor in formats with defensive peripheral stats.

Impact Broja turned in an impressive all around performance and seems to have fully shaken off his issue he suffered last weekend versus Arsenal. He's been spectacular this season almost every time he's been given the nod to start and has already mounted four goals in six starts after taking 14 shots over that stint. With both Che Adams and Adam Armstrong dealing with issues at the moment Broja could keep seeing regular time for the time being.

Impact Caballero is off to a very rough start of his spell in relief of injured Alex McCarthy after already allowing five goals in just two outings. He's also added six saves though so there is some upside if he could keep a clean sheet. The keeper at least will keep starting for the time being with the starter still far from a return.
