Back with club Mounie is back with Augsburg and is an option for Friday's match against Mainz, according to manager Jess Thorup. "Steve is back- he became a father at the weekend."

Impact Mounie has returned to the club following the birth of his child, forcing him to miss their last match. He hasn't started in either match he has been available for this season and will likely only hold a rotational role, earning time off the bench Friday.

Moves to Germany Mounie has agreed on a three year deal with Augsburg, leaving Brest after a four year spell.

Impact Mounie will play in Germany for the first time in his career after spending the last four years with Brest in Ligue 1. The forward scored a total of 30 goals in 125 appearances, logging in 273 shots (105 on target), 42 crosses (eight accurate), 53 tackles (29 won) and 90 clearances.
