Impact Jimenez will likely remain in the MLS NEXT Pro league until there is a need for more players with the senior side, already making three MLS appearances. He will also get more playing time with FCC II, starting all three games while already logging in an assist.

Impact Jimenez was held out for training Friday, implying he would not be an option Saturday, and that has come to fruition after he was listed as out on the club's availability report. Luckily for the club, the midfielder has only appeared once all season as a substitute, with his absence not being an issue. He will now hope to see some improvements in health over the next week, looking to return against Montreal on April 13.

Impact Jimenez is dealing with a minor knock and was training inside, according to Pfahler, but his availability for this weekend remains uncertain. Even if deemed available, the youngster is not expected to play a prominent role for Cincinnati in midfield, and should be a depth option in a very best-case scenario.

He started training in Cincinnati back in November and since then worked on his development and recovery in Brazil while playing for a futsal team, now being ready to join the club for pre-season training. The 16-year-old will hope to gain more time on the field leading into the new campaign, as he only registered a mere one minute in his first season as a professional footballer.
